Expansion Tank/Coolant Reservoir

Good day all,

I drive a 2008 LR3 4.4 V8 in Nigeria. I am experiencing the 'Low Coolant' message even though the levels are good when I check physically. I understand this is a common fault and requires a replacement of the expansion tank/coolant reservoir. I am currently in the UK and I'd like to take advantage of being here to purchase a genuine replacement.

My question is: are these reservoirs the same across engine models? Or do I have to take extra care to make sure I get one for a petrol engine and not a diesel engine which I know are more popular in the U.K. I'd appreciate it if anyone can help in clarifying.

well the diesel only has 1 top hose connection.

Can't recall what the petrol has ?

I believe the correct P/N is LR020367 - fits all D3 models 2005 - 2009.

Yes. Buy genuine not OEM.
Non-originals sometimes do not seal properly.

Correct, it is the same part on quite many LR vehicles Laughing
