2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Java BlackDiscovery 3
Discovery 3 Bluetooth phone

Ok, we just got a Discovery 3, and have tried pairing my dads SPV700 to it which is Fully compatable.

But, when we search for a device it comes up with "Ford Audio" instead of "Land Rover" and when we try the passcode 2121 it fails to connect!

Anyone know of a way of fixing this?

Als to note is that the car was bought 2nd hand, so would the problem be that it needs the car phone system resetting to forget the previous phone?

Sounds like you have the dealer fit bluetooth, try passcode 0000 instead.

Confused Have you got another phone you could try? I'm pretty sure that the pass code is 2121 if the bluetooth is dealer fit and 0000 if fitted as an accessory.

wooo thanks alot mate!! got it sorted!! damn im impressed with the phone system!!

We just did a Hard reset on the phone, tried again and 0000 worked!!

now... i have 2 more problems to sory out haha

Wunder if you could help with that to, or if not ill start another thread!!

One is we have one of the Rosen DVD players installed, and we tried to get the audio to come through the cars speakers by pressing te speaker button on te player and tuning the radio to FM 87.9 and FM 88.3, but nether seemed to work, would you happen to know why?

Also the last problem is when the car doors are opend, the interior lights do not turn on!, but they do if the center button is pressed on the front lights.

I havent got the Rosen DVD player myself but some of the members on here do have, I'd post up a new topic for that one.

I believe that the interior lights operation via the doors can be switched off by pressing and holding the center button for about 5 seconds and to turn them on again is the same procedure.

Hope that helps
