Hi Guys, me again with another odd question. I have managed to get my V8 Manual working, I just need to get low range working so I can re-calibrate the xy sensor but I think that's possibly a separate issue. However when I start the car it does it's cold start procedure at circa 1300rpm, this quickly drops to circa 650rpm and is absolutely fine, that is until you touch the throttle. As soon as you blip the throttle it looses its target idle speed and keeps fluctuating between 1600rpm and 10000000rpm. As a result the engine hunts up and down at around 1600rpm. I can still drive the car and it drives well except when you get near to idle it starts hunting again. I have a slight feeling it may be to do with the clutch switch/xy calibration as I had similar when it was diesel. It may be something that needs to be rectified in the map but I thought I'd ask if anyone has had anything similar before going down that route.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
