Discovery 3 it's not starting

My Discovery 3 it's not starting.
The scanner show me the code P0622 Generator field terminal circuit.
Does anyone experienced this issue before?

I think that just means alternator fault. Does not explain your problem. Well unless the main fuse has gone?

Maybe one cylinder has no compression ?
Have you checked the front belt cover for holes (assuming original oil pump )

Did you check the red light of immobiliser inside the instrument cluster while inserting the key?

Get some easy start from garage and see if it fire with that, if so its either fuel shortage or the glow plugs are not working. You can hear it trying to fire.

Once you turn the ignition on the light should come on and then go out.
