" S " Edition

Hi Guys,

was just wondering what the extras in an S Edition Disco 3 were? I believe it gets you the cold climate pack which i know contains a heated windscreen but what else? I'm currently looking for a Disco 3 and my entire basis for plumping for an S Edition is that i cba with window scraping in the winter! Whistle

I also read somewhere that S gets you the bi xenons too?

cheers
andy

05 model specs here:

http://web.archive.org/web/20050407131919/...ptions.htm

05 "S" models had Bi-Xenons, but they were deleted at some point in 06.
Edit: digging around for 06 now.....

And here's the spec from May 06

http://web.archive.org/web/20060520130956/...ptions.htm

Cold Climate standard, but bi-xenons deleted.

LR seem to delete stuff almost monthly in the first 2 years of production, so make a list of what you want and don't assume the car you are viewing actually has it until you see the evidence with your own eyes

Happy to help.

Web Archive is brilliant. As long as you have the "root" web address, you have a pretty good chance of getting the backdated pages you want within a 1-month window. Thumbs Up

There's also a fair chance that early 'S's may have had their xenons removed when their first owners sold them & kept them to fit in their next one Wink

06 S models also had the "bright pack" as standard, so front fogs & puddle lights (but not Xenons, so maybe not so bright!)

I'am not sure exactly when the 'S' became 'XS' or is it 'SX' ? anyway mines a late 'S' I believe and came with PTI and sat nav factory fitted.
