London ulez
From September the ulez is expanding to cover the area inside the north and south circular road.
This will mean paying £15.00 congestion charge and if your car is not ulez complaint another £12.50.
Another sly tax on anyone who lives and has to travel in London.
My understanding is that Euro 6 compliant diesel cars are exempt from ULEZ charges, which includes almost every diesel car registered since September 2015.
Likewise petrol cars meeting at least Euro 4 emissions standards are exempt, which includes virtually every petrol car registered since January 2006.

There are many Low Emission Zones (LEZ) and Clean Air Zones (CAZ) in the UK, search the web to identify them & their requirements.
I use a Free app. - Green Zones, which I have found to be of use when route planning in Europe, but which also covers the UK. It's available for both Android & Apple:-

For those with a Disco Commercial, the ULEZ is £100 for these vehicles, whereas a normal Disco is only £12.50.

I have checked and my discovery is not compliant, there will be lots of people who have older cars that this will affect. I have a friend who lives inside the area who has to drive to his work. Public transport is not suitable 3 different buses and it will take almost a hour .

Joys of living in President Kahns London I guess, he wont be happy until there are no ICE vehicles inside the M25 for anyone. Cleaner city air is a must but IMO this isn't the way to go about it by taxing residents and daily workers. And no, I don't have a better suggestion sorry.
Kilovolt - im with you, worked there for a number of years near Wembley but ill never go inside the M25 border ever again.2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

It depends if its a high polluting euro 6... the Disco 4 is considered to be high in the Ulez chart, hence the daily charge
