Hey,
I have an 05 hse tonga that I've recently purchased. I'm going through sorting a new niggling issues.
one I have currently is my parking sensors.
When you click it into reverse and start moving I get a loud continuous buzzing/crackle sound (approx 5 seconds) then silence. The sound comes from the rear where I believe the speaker is located.
I've not been able to test for clicking as I cannot seem to turn the sensors on when parked?
also no flashing lights or warning messages.
Any help would be appreciated

A continuous beep might be the module telling you one or more of the sensors is faulty. If you have another person, you can have them sit in the car and put it in reverse with foot on the brake. If you put your ear near a good parking sensor it will make a crackling sound. A bad one will be silent. If you are buy yourself you could try chocking all the tires and then going for a listen —be careful.
The GAP tool will tell you which sensor is bad, so a bit of a shortcut. 2008 LR3 HSE, 4.4L V8

Speaker is in the LH side rear behind the trim.
