Spray it with plenty of whatever you have like WD40 and put a rag around it and use some grips to twist it till it comes out, what I have used in the past is put a ring key spanner on the pipe connector and use that to lever it loose, but be careful not to damage the threads.
Brake cleaner is good as it breaks down the carbon as well. Funny enough I did the same injector yesterday for the same fault.

Towel over the top and crank it, mind you I tried this with a 200tdi and I drove it for weeks before it came loose enough to remove.

I am using egr and carb cleaner, sprayed this morning, left it for a while then steam cleaned engine on hottest setting. Sprayed more while stripping away undone everything it wont budge.
tried tapping along the side to twist it with a drift and hammer, made a makeshift slide hammer as well but wont move at all!
dont want to lever underneath as it looks plastic?
I was going to suggest this but if you dont know what your doing then its better not doing this way, I have seen them fired out and through a windscreen..

As flack says. That's a last resort!
Work it side to side, back and forward while levering VERY gently onto the cam cover. It will eventually work its way loose My D3 Build Thread
If you try the compression method then make sure you put the bolts holding the injector in enough so they dont pull out, and disconnect all other injectors electrically.

I remember giving same advice to a guy with a corsa diesel and again he drove around for weeks before it popped, luckily he remembered the blanket!
There are guys out there who do nothing but remove injectors, used to be one come in regular where I used to work, maybe one near you, 70 gbp to remove Iirc?

My homemade slide hammer worked.
job done, she runs great now! But what a little b*gger!
the team that designed the engine should of met the team that designed the body! Before they stuck them together! Ffs

Is there a knack for getting number 6 out?
Managed 1-5 last Friday, but 6 refuses to budge.
Pry bar, hammer taps, plenty of spray and it's refusing to give up.
