Really need to see what context it's used in....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Its basically at the same height as the D3 air vent.
I'd trimmed the SCT to help but still had a wet footwell, its best to replace the whole drain tube. The new version doesn't have the SCT.
On the passenger side to replace the whole drain tube meant removing the CJB

Nice one fino.
I never thought it'd be as high as the other side vent, but in hindsight, it does seem plausible.
We got rained off today but did sort the drivers side out. Will attempt the passenger side in the morning we have a dry forecast. Mods:

hi mate, if you are trying to unblock the passenger one trust me be very carefull with it, as you might know they are crimped at the end and fill with , but they normally harden and rot, to unblock sometimes you have to brake off the crimp, you will then get a arm full of the said running down your arm,by which time you are full of yourself fixing another job this is where the pain can begin do not brake off the drain too short because if the drain falls back inside the inner arch it will drain into the car !!!only way to fix that is a nightmare CJB out etc, etc, dont go there!be carefull

Ok, had a result with this now and sorted it.
After reading loads of posts, the one bit of information that was missing regarding the location of the drain is now clear. The key bit of info that was missing is that the passenger side on a D3 is exactly the same as the drivers side with the exception of the missing vent in the wing. On the drivers side, the sunroof drain runs into the air vent grill in the wing. On the other side, it runs to exactly the same place but there is no vent in the wing.
The trick is to get your hand up behind the wheel arch liner and reach up behind the wing to where the cutout in the structure is located. This is where the vent would be placed if there was one. In short, the passenger side is a mirror image of the drivers side with both drains being in the same place but on opposite sides.
Once I'd twigged that, it was simple enough to unblock the drain end and get a wet arm in the process.
I'm sure this will help somebody. Mods:

I have just done both my near side sunroof drains, found it easier taking the front wing off in the end to access the front drain grommet, rear one is relatively easy once the roof liner is down!
