Anybody increased standard ride height during calibration.

Just calibrated my suspension to standard 466mm front and 485mm rear. Now I’m thinking I would like to increase the standard ride height. Has anyone done this and was it ok or not. Thanks.

Ppl have done it.

It applies to all modes though.
So access normal and off-road would all be a bit higher

So wouldn’t corner as well (or safely on road )
So be careful

I keep mine 10 mm below the calibrated setting for improved handling, not sure why you'd want to raise it higher though. You can program raised/lower settings with IID and select them as and when required, as well as the default!

How do you set it lower than the standard ride height please. ?
Is it a long job?

I'm convinced mine rides higher than normal. Parked next to another d3 in the services yesterday and the difference between the back bumpers was noticeable. Need to get around to actually measuring it

5 mins wit GAP IID!

Select height settings so long as you are happy the default 466F/485R are correct, which the tool will ask you to confirm> Select raise or lower the suspension 5'10'15 '20 mm and confirm. I think 25 mm is the max but others will confirm. Thumbs Up

Interesting enough I’m doing this with the Autel AP200 tool. I seem to have the full software and not a Frey import, thus I have all the full features including all suspension maintenance. I put in current corner height values and then after it has gone through a raise and lower it asked for new values. 10mm up to front 475mm and rear 495mm. Seems to work and confirms calibration is complete and successful. If this tool hadn’t done suspension I was going to buy the Gap tool. Happy days 👍

Maybe you're adjusting it by changing the actual default calibration rather than adding a "new setting"!
In any case I suppose it won't matter so long as you are aware of it, but I must confess I have no experience of Autel.

With the IID you can add three or maybe four settings which you can then select as and when desired.
When you want to go back to standard "calibrated" height you just select default from the menu! Thumbs Up
