I loaded some bikes onto the rear bike rack this afternoon, and because there were 4 I put my lighting board on as the rear lights were partially covered by the bikes.
I then noticed that the red LED’s of the rear lights were flashing..
I unplugged the lighting board and they stopped.
While plugged in, they flashed with ignition off, doors locked, engine running etc etc. The only time they didn’t flash was if the lights were switched on.
Can anyone advise please..?
I’ve left unplugged as they’re staying on the car overnight and will plug back in while running tomorrow abs just have the lights on.
Thanks in advance 2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁

Does your lighting board have LED indicators?
You may need to fit resistors in the wiring. Andrew

No it doesn’t, I’ve used other light boards for trailers but if I’m honest, I don’t think I would have noticed if the rear lights would have been flashing then or not..? 2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁

If these are LED's on the board then it will be due to not having resistors fitted as D#'s scan the lights continuously
