Im sorry, i work for said railway company and i resent the wearing of those suits on the basis that ive been shirking from home for a over a year now and my office wear has been shorts, flip flops and hoodies/t shirts....ive got used to it now and rather like it. Very Happy

Few Council's have their own direct labour forces anymore. And it's hardly fair to blame Capita's poor workforce on their client.

Of course, much of the Council Tax goes to pay for things like police, social care, education etc. rather than layabout work men.

Great ruse by Maggie, that one. Get Local Authorities to shoulder the blame for a tax that no one appreciates. Laughing

I can also talk about agreed rates that the LA agreed with Capita. 900k for services. I'll happily do it for £120k, provide a better service, and still make money.
