[Free] Hitachi compressor - NOT WORKING!
After having my compressor replaced I made sure that I got the old unit back from the garage with the intention of getting it working again, or using it for spares, but like many of my projects, it’s sat in the shed and hasn’t moved since it got there, in addition, my Disco is now fitted with AMK anyway.
It’s a Hitachi unit with brand new dissident media.
After stripping it back, the piston and housing appear to be in good condition as does the motor.
When running it on my test bench, it will spin but it’s drawing over 5a @ 12v and can be stopped with a finger blocking the outlet.
It’s free to anyone on here that wants it.
Collection from Brandon, Suffolk (IP27) or I can post at buyers cost.
