From manual to Electric Seats

PLEASE HELP...

HI! people.. my this is my first post.. I Just bought a 2007 tdv6 commercial disco 3, it had 2 front manual seats.. today i got the whole set of 7 seats (electric) all are working except the driver one,

the loom to send the power to the motors works but the relay to send power to the switches doesnt match.

I have been to the few agents/dealers all they had to say was the vehicle was built commercial nothing they can do. Sad

Any tricks or ways to sort out the situation will appreciate.
Thats all, thanks

Looking at the wiring diagram, check that you have a fuse in 29. should be a 30amp one
This one goes to relay for the power to the Rh seat.

and fuse 54 a 5amp both these goes to the Memory control module.

Check that you have GND on pin 17 and 2 on the module, black wire

You should read 12v on pin 1 on the module a brown wire with green trace. thats battery power
check if you have 12v on pin 4 too. this wire is white with a red trance

So check for 12v on pin 1 and pin 2 these are 2.5 thick

pin 4 and 17 is 0.5 think.

Wiring diagram for the seats:

As you have the commercial you will not have the necessary ECU's on the vehicle to just plug the drivers seat in and it works . I assume you have a drivers seat with the memory buttons so to get the drivers seat to function you need to bypass the memory module . Once you have done that the drivers seat will be adjustable in bursts of 5 second duration - does not sound long but more than adequate to adjust as & when required.

If you PM me I can walk you through what's required wiring wise - one day I must post a how to on this time permitting Whistle

Thumbs Up

N.B: I am about to depart for parts foreign for several weeks so be quick ..... Thumbs Up
