Can get around the need for a square pot if you can get "curved washers" from your plumbing supplier. They are used to connect pipes through a hot water cylinder wall.

As part of the cooking process shouldn't one be considering the use of a Pollution Control Valve as an essential addition to the venue for the release of unwanted vapours?Rob Smith
