Yes pal , ive looked , plenty of threads on this code / issue but non where they didnt have this fault till it was scanned , it appears that using Bosch diag tool has looked me out of the module , i was hoping to learn of a way to unlock it ???
Thanks

Hi
Personally I would take up the very kind offer from @darrind , otherwise ur chasing ur tail as the iid is an extremely advanced diagnostics along with @darrinf knowledge

thought id update on this , Darrind being a total gent , plugged iiD into my D3 with the prospective new owner for company as I was predisposed , he read the codes of which there were many and came to the conclusion that it 1. needs a new battery and 2. the RLM is either goosed or has a knot in it , unfortunately he doesn't have the capability to carry out a recalibration so I need to find an INDY with iiD or something as sufficient to go through the module and sort it once and for all ! once again id like to extend many thanks to Darrind for stepping up to the plate when needed ,
cheers pal
