Thanks for posting that up darren , ive ordered a new battery and compressor , so will see what effect that has on the issue

often with the C1A00 error code all you need to do is re activate the suspension via a diagnostic machine. IId will do it for any vehicle.

Update, darrind and i ( thanks pal ) spent an hour or two yesterday doing some more diag work , came to the conclusion there was a knot in the calibration set up which needed sorting , so i purchased a license for his iiD and today he sorted it all out , yesterday afternoon i swapped back to old resevoir valve which enabled me to at least get the car up to normal ride height so once darrind had done his bit i just need to purchase a decent quality valve and that will see the end of the fault, anyone suggest a good place to purchase a new resevoir valve??
