Park brake light stays on?

Evening all,
Ive just noticed when turning off the ignition and locking the doors the park brake light stays illuminated for about 5 mins before going out.
Is this normal?
The rear brake shoes and pads were changed recently but as far as i know, no problems were encountered.
(EPB bedding in procedure carried out)
Ive only had the car for a couple of months and cant be sure if its always done this or just since the brakes were replaced.
2.7 Manual
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave, it stays on until the car goes to sleep. I think they all do it. Regards Lee

You’re on the right forum for info, I’ve had mine 2 and a half years now and I’m learning every day.
