They are still doing it. I've just put a deposit on a Disco 4 and need a tow hitch and found one on FB Marketplace for £150. Anyway, they called me this morning and sent an invoice to post it today...thank God I looked them up and looked on Companies house etc!!!
Be careful...a classic "if it's too good to be true" situation!!

They are still at it, I said I’d collect and they where insisting I paid now and then collected. There’s a weird kid advertising for them that they claim is their recovery driver. Different names now though, look out for Paul Pearson, Jamie Harrison and davie Wilde.
On another note I still need a detachable tow bar If anybody has one!

Why dont the Police reply if it's been reported? It can when others can't,

Because it's too much like hard work. They would prefer to look out for people with modified number plates rather than do any real work.
My old Discovery was hit by someone towing a trailer who them promptly made off. They were followed by another driver who took their number and reported it to the police. When I went to the police station to report the incident, I was questioned very nastily and asked to produce all of my documents. They then stated that the offending vehicle was fitted with false plates and just told me to claim of my insurance. No attempt whatsoever of tracing the vehicle even though they had the model and colour.
Since then I have absolutely no faith in the police at all. 2013 RR Vogue SE SDV8
