Rear brake pipe union wont undo!
Am in the process of replacing the upper suspension arms on the D3.
After lots of swearing I’ve managed to get 2 of the bolts off. I’m now at the point I am ready to undo the brake line.
My 10mm spanner is too big and is spinning (it doesn’t seem rounded) and the 9mm won’t go on. Am I missing something??

Hi
Am trying to remember if there 11mm , Are u talking about the top nut where the hose joins onto the bodies copper brake like plse
If u wish to carry on until u undo the brake line cut a slit in the wishbone bracket to get the brake line out

Just double checked , Pipe in the middle of the hoses is 11mm
Also the bleed nipple and top nut is 11mm , also find using a brake pipe spanner helps where the nuts have been round off before
Weird as I’ve just put a spanner on the fittings and there 11mm , might have to use some mole grips if u can’t get a spanner to fit or rounded
Don’t forget plenty here to always help if u get stuck
Hope that helps

Hi
That’s weird its a different size, i also cut the very top nut off the copper pipe and put a new flare on it as the copper pipe was just twisting
Have u tried a 3/8 spanner as that just under 10mm
