air suspension compressor for rapid tyre inflation?
after a lot of messing around with various air suspension issues, I now have a spare Hitachi compressor available. Coincidentally, I was looking at getting something like an ARB for rapid tyre inflation during off-roading. So now I'm wondering if if instead I can find a space under the car for the old compressor and if it's possible to put a second air tank like this https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/rqn50007...5226-p.asp in the same location as the suspension one but on the other side of the car, and use that for tyre inflation...
Has anyone done anything like this?

The OEM compressor is not suitable for tyres. It has high pressure but very low volume and will simply burn out trying to do tyres.

Thanks for that- looks like it will have to be ARB then but do you know if it's possible to connect it to, and if there is room to put another OEM-type air tank on the other side?

You might consider the ARB portable as a handy alternate....comes in a box. Had one for years...brilliant. .....sometimes it just looks.....too clean!

Would the T max tyre compressor be of use in this project or is it really only the ARB that should be used with this setup
