Need part number for bolt |
|
Hi all.
D3 - 56 plate.
I've just done an EGR bypass and things are all looking the better for it. However, the head of one of the bolts holding the bypass pipe to the exhaust, sheared off when I was trying to get it out. After much cursing, swearing, heat, Plus Gas, etc - I finally got the shank out. Good job too, as drilling it out looked a bit of a challenge, given it was the one buried at the bottom on the driver's side
I replaced it with a nice shiney new chrome bolt I had kicking around, but obviously, it looks very much out of place and anyone looking more closely, will be able to see the new bolt and wonder why. Que query re the EGR status, etc.
So, can anyone provide the LR part number of the bolt, so I can go get a new black one, to hide my deeds ?? I've googled around and can come close - they look (to my untrained eye) as black M8 30mm bolts with flange, but I'd like to get the right ones.
Thanks in advance,
Ken.
