I've got the AMK compressor and the original plastic cover box still fits. You don't want that lot exposed to the salt through the winter if you can avoid it.

Please be aware that the GAP Tool figure of 4.96v is the supply voltage, which I believe is the output figure at the module. If the wiring is bad, you still get that 4.96v figure even if nothing is reaching the pressure sensor.

I'm with you on the miracle cure! I keep hoping that I'll clear the codes and it won't come back!

Since you are talking about the NSF connectors in the wheel arch, you clearly have an early D3 like mine, but it would be helpful for anyone looking at this thread in the future if you were to update your profile with the details on your vehicle. (If you don't have an early D3, then whatever connectors you've found probably don't include the wire you are looking for! Smile )

Oh ok, yes I do do have an early one 05 plate, I'll have to have another look at that box, it didn't go on easy and I was having a bad day so when it didn't go straight on I got the himp lol.

Thanks for that voltage info, I thought that might be the case but I wasn't sure. If I manage to find a solution I will post back on here so it can maybe help others.

I'll have a look at my profile, I thought I had added my info but maybe I did it wrong. Been looking at these threads for a while and only just signed in properly so I can post 😁
