Remote Heater Bracket
Recently, the TV on our 2016 Landmark stopped working properly (no picture). The car is back at the dealers today and I received a call this afternoon asking if I’d fitted a remote heater unit? It looks like a drain tube has been trapped behind the bracket holding the remote module in the R/O/S corner, or a trim clip, which has leaked and allowed water into the TV unit. At no time have I removed the trim panel, but the dealership did I imagine to re-fit the rear C-panel speaker trim.
On our 2010 model, there wasn’t a bracket fitted, so I stuck the remote module using double sided foam tape. I was surprised when I saw that the bracket was there on the 2016 car, but as it was, I simply slid the module into place.
Can any of you chaps confirm that your cars have the bracket fitted even if the remote option wasn’t ticked please? Obviously I’m thinking that they’ll blame me, but as the bracket was already there on my car.............
Attached are a couple of the photos that they’ve sent.

Put a remote unit in couple of months ago , the bracket that you slide the remote unit on to was already there (2016 SE Tech).

Yep bracket already in place on 2016 Hse lux when I fitted remote heat, also when I sold it and bought a 2014 commercial I moved remote heat over to the commercial which also had bracket pre fitted so don't let them pin it on you.Stu

Thanks guys, that’s what I wanted to hear.
Looking further at the photo, it looks like the drain tube is just behind the r/o/s door and has been trapped by the boot side trim. I didn’t touch that, as I managed to fit it through the jack storage hole.
Not long after we had the car, the rear o/s speaker trim panel needed re-fitting, so I suspect that the lower trim may have been removed to facilitate this. I have offered to fit the module for them through the jack hole, so we’ll have to see what transpires tomorrow.
Thanks again.

The bracket is there on virtually all 2012 onwards models. Regardless of whether the receiver was factory fitted or not. Bodsys Brake Bible

RESULT!!!
I have just had a call from the dealer to say that the issue is being covered under warranty. They confirmed that the drain pipe is just behind the rear passenger’s door, so is at the opposite end of the corner to the remote heater unit.
Thanks once again for the help!
