| I thought I had saved my battery |

In 2017 when i had just returned from the N500 I pulled up my driveway after about a 300 mile journey home and I could smell burning. On opening the bonnet I found that the alternator had given up the ghost and was smoking badly. Knowing that it would probably take the battery with it I quickly disconnected it and removed it. I put it straight onto a reconditioning charge on my c-tec and replaced the Alternator the day after. When I re-fitted the battery it seemed ok and I thought what a good do I have saved it  But last winter I noticed special programs off and other small electrical glitches starting to appear which went away for a while this summer when I used the car to do a bit of a tour around Europe. But unfortunately when I came to start the car yesterday it was flat to the point it only spun it over twice and then that was it. I have charged it overnight with the c-tec again until it registered fully charged but it only spun it 2 or 3 times and went flat again. So unfortunately I have had to order a new one from Tayna today. The battery was less than 2 years old  The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

I don't think I would have got away with that fella tbh. Also the hassle of sending it back. I have bought another one now The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.
