Hi all,
As per subject. Hot or cold, when ever I come to a stop the revs Dip and battery light flicks on for a second. As if its going to stall but doesn't. Revs then seem to settle after going up and down a few times.
Seperately, probably not linked but yellow parking light is on and been having several weird things happen lately like screen flicks on and off, radio resets. Occasional errors that come and go.
I've been thinking battery for a while now. Just an inkling but nowhere near certain.
Any thoughts please?
Thanks. Cogito ergo sum!

Brake light switch or rear brake light bulbs?- the brake light switch is more than just a switch, it sends messages to the engine ecu, for example when the brake peddle is operated it cuts the fuel supply to the engine It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

How old is your fuel filter?
Mine started doing the same and then started stalling when slowing down for junctions, very hair raising!
I foolishly hadn’t changed my fuel filter for a ‘few’ years (mainly cos it’s a pain). Changed it and all fine, lesson learnt. Giggity - Giggity

Not checked CC but will do on way home tonight.
Not checked break lights but that is a good shout, thanks.
Not considered fuel filter either. Also good shout, thanks. Is that an easy change on a D3? I've had it a year now so no idea when it was last changed. Certainly not in my time. Cogito ergo sum!

I had similar, as above is your cruise control working and what about your EPB?
I had a problem with my EPB, it needed adjustment so I pulled the fuse for a few days. That fuse also took out the cruise control and the engine anti stall which caused similar almost stalling as you described.

EPB works fine but Yellow light is on and on screen error tells me there is an EPB fault. SO maybe it is all linked then?
Where about is the fuse for that? In which fuse box do you remember? Cogito ergo sum!

That's precisely why I asked about your cruise control.
Working or not?
You want fuse FL8, it's a big pink block fuse, it's in the engine bay fuse box, next to the battery. Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.

Whats the diagnosis based on that? Cogito ergo sum!

Check fuse FL8 as described in my previous post.
That fuse controls EPB but also sub-controls cruise and anti stall on manuals.
You're experiencing issues with all 3 and that fuse is the common link. Mods:

Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.

Have you had the egr,s blanked ? Mine did exactly the same nearly stalled when you were coming to halt at roundabouts, traffic lights and the like.When Mick Flack did my belts and water pump he found that the butterfly valve had not been removed and when he did it cured it completely The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.
