Hi,
bit of a bumpty bump now Christmas has passed,
have a "for sale" sign in the window and only advertised on here and Preloved, going to wait until March before getting serious about selling it on Autotrader and fleabay
Have sold the winter tyres as well, running on the standard NON-run flat tyres with a full size spare

Have you considered putting an advert up on minitorque.com or mini2.com?
That’s where all the MINI folk while their time away...2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)

getting £2500-£3000 as a p/ex but the dealers have their profit to make then, would rather buy p/vt but its getting close to "may as well p/ex"

Good that you have sold it with cash to help towards your next purchase.
For what it's worth, I had my late father's Freelander 1 (one of the last before the 2 came out), and I traded up from that straight to a D3 (after about 18 months because the Freelander needed 3 new injectors). Chalk and cheese in my opinion.
You mentioned you were after a D3, having done the leap myself from a Freelander to a D3, (and now a D4), my suggestion would be to go straight to a D3 not a freelander, more pulling power, much much more room (the Freelander doesn't have that much luggage space compared with a D3 or 4) and everything is so much better in the Disco.
