Thanks ! But this started as a V8 petrol.. not as a TdV6 diesel..

I know people have put a Cummins diesel in a Defender but those aren’t as integrated of course.

what would be the difference? clean the tank, flash it and ready. only additional modification will be the fuel system

Is this realistic in Europe?

I mean! $2499 for v8 engine and transmission that purportedly drops straight in?

Sounds like a great option, but guessing there will be a catch or two?

You need the LS3 engine, too - $2499 only gets you the install kit. Thumbs Up

The guy/guys who did it also changed the instrument panel to another and got rid of the air suspension in favor of coils. So they made the vehicle simpler, really. It’s mentioned in one of the URLs above.

Ahhhh.

Misread that entirely then.

Thought it was swap kit INCLUDING engine and transmission.

Will, another bubble burst on the road to addressing my naivety.
