| Amber handbreak light and gears not displaying |
|
Hi All,
New to the world of discoveries, all going great guns until last night. Have a amber light like the hand break symbol displayed and the hand break seems not to release. Not sure if this is related but the gear is no longer displaying...N does when its in neutral.
Any advise greatly appreciated,

Common problem on manuals, can just happen but sometimes can be caused by slipping clutch.
You will find you also have no reverse lights or parking sensors working.
You can recalibrate the XY sensor to fix this. The method is on the first page of the following thread.
