hi all, this is my first post, great forum ! i've purchased a lr bluetooth phone kit for my d3. in the fitting instructions it says i must remove the steering wheel to fit the the new call control buttons. has anyone had experience of doing this? how do you dissable the air bag ? any advice would be gratefully received ! regards, v3rno

When i fitted my bluetooth kit ,,i left the steering wheel attatched.
I removed the air bag , but cut out the section for the controls with the steering wheel in place ..

It looks worse than it is ...
Most stuff just pulls off and the stereo , air con etc just a few screws to get each unit off ...
The hardest part was getting the air con plastic ducts out , so to be able to get the wires behind .. G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
