If I could not afford a pair of Pro-speed rock/tree sliders what would be your next choice and how much would you expect to pay ? Thankyou The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

I’ve looked (but not seen live or made a purchasing decision) at Shire Fabrications. Do a quick search here and people seem to be happy with them, ditto if doing JFGI on the same.
I will have a look, thanks fella The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Allmakes. The sliders look and feel tough enough. Number of Bolts and Size is same for all, since this is mandated by the car design.
Bolts included were okay, I bought a couple of proper washers though.
Confirmed compatible with Prospeed compresoor guard as well.

I have the britpart ones, been on for a few years now and taken some hits. Jacked one side of the car up on them with a high lift after I had a blow out on the Yorkshire Dales, had them zinc coated and powder coated last year and look like new again.
Do they stick out further than the prospeed ones Stephen or are they the same ?The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

I have the Prospeed ones on the D4 and Shire on the D3.
Whilst the Prospeed are very good and well made the Shire Fabrication ones are also very good.
If buying again I would find it hard to justify the price difference for the Prospeed.
I do have the inserts on the Prospeed which you can’t get for the others.
I’ll take some pictures of both in the morning as it might help.D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.

The Prospeed stick out further Mark, when I have compared them. Probably half / full inch.

I fitted the Terrafirma ones, they stick out enough to protect and my little ones can get in the car easier with them.
watch for mud on the back of your bottoms when getting in and out!
They are cheap and suit the purpose I have hi-lifted the side of the vehicle on occasion too.iiD Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool

I have the Shire ones. Delighted with them. Very easy fix, the bolt holes are lined up well. Jacked the car off them the other day to put my winter wheels on, no problem.
How far do they stick out from the sill Dave ? Please could you measure them for me ? ThanksThe happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
