Yes, I had this once on Autoroute in France. Pulled into a service area, switched off, had a cup of coffee and visited a certain building, switched on again all OK. That was 6 months ago. No problem since.

I can relate to this - 3 audio units later and it still happens. Dealers say its software but readily change the unit luckily under warranty. Audio unit can be working ok for hours then u stop, switch off, come back switch on and the audio comes on and freezes totally. You have no control of what it then is doing, you cannot change anything and I mean anything!!. Stop again, switch off and on and hey presto its back. In addition to this with traffic announcement it comes in then when it cuts off normal audio goes silent until you tweak the volume button and it kicks in again!! Total madness if you ask me.

my radio and aux refused to work for about 2 hours on Sunday, having just worked for the previous 2 hours . Strangely the CD player still worked Turned it off for 20 mins and it all worked fine when turned on again
Was in the dealer on Monday and they could find nothing wrong, no error codes.......... Sail Fast - Live Slow...

My Radio/CD unit failed in the same manner. The download did nothing (but waste my time) and a new unit had to be ordered up.
