Hi new to site sorry if been asked before but does anyone know if the icarsoft TFI810 iid works with a 56 plate discovery 3? Thanks in advance

only on the basics can not d any flashes or mods with it iid bt tool is what you need.

Its the terrafirma branded Icarsoft reader, can read ll the same codes and systems as the IID incl injector balance codes etc, all the temperatures/pressures etc etc, BUT cannot reprogramme like the IID.
The 830 found 28 ecus, the IID found 28 acus.
I did find its functionality a bit weird at times and it did seem at tiems you had to go backwards to go forwards.
Loads of videos on youtube.
Worked just fine on my 06 D3, well worth it just to keep in the car.
Kept it for a year then bought the IID and sold the I830 for about ten quid less than I paid for it 
Best bit is it clears all the faults like any other diag tool incl all the non engine ecus and once codes cleared my FBH sprung back into life, that alone was worth the 100 quid.
Ebay for cheapest prices, also does Jaguars so decent resale market.

Thanks for replies my engine warning light came on, surprise it's an egr valve but garage I got it from fixing it under warranty today, just wanted an iid to diagnose faults/warning lights & clear faults once repaired, a local garage charges £30 a test so thought I would get the TFI810 to do this but wanted to make sure it worked before buying thanks again steve
