I haven't done any checks on the battery and I don't know how old it is. But it does turn the engine over very well even when below zero and will crank for a good while. I've been told 5 out of 6 glow plugs are dead and the sixth is pretty useless. I've found a reputable company willing to replace them, I'm just hoping to get though the winter and get it done in the spring/summer.
