Export Sales.
Perhaps LR or a dealer might be able to answer this.

Their used to be a section on the Landrover site covering personal exports, but having a quick look now, does not seem to be there anymore. From memory you could do this for vehicle ordered was not to a EU country. It was possible for Guernsey and Jersey residents to arrange their own import direct from factory.D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

One can buy a vehicle in UK and export it without registering, but are you after a LHD or other none UK spec. when it is more difficult, I know someone who wanted a LHD one as he did a lot of driving abroad and ended up ordering in the Netherlands as it was easier.

Usually it’s called expat, diplomat and military sales.
TBH, they make it - at least on paper - really hard to buy anything except via the retail channel unlike Volvo who has something called expat sales and they’ll pretty much sell to anybody with the money and either let you receive the car at the factory or at the destination or something in between.. https://www.volvocars.com/diplomat/expat/t...at-program
I can vouch for Volvo expat sales working very well.
Do Guava still have a department specialising in this? Or was it a different dealer?

In the ‘80s a friend of my fathers full time job was, unloading lorry loads of ford cars from the ferry in Cork and driving the load to catch the ferry in Dublin back to the UK that evening. There was a few hundred pounds of a saving to the UK purchaser to buy an exported car.
