fuses in, bled brakes. Just not getting it to reset properly. Read Disco_Mike's thread on repairing it if it's overwound, but I don't think it's that.....
will go outside and play a little with it again

If you can and your brakes work, and the EPBs not jammed on, safely and very carefully go for a slow drive and see if that helps, work the brakes on and off and try the EPB, there’s a bedding in procedure detailed in Bodsys Bible, try that, EPB needs applied 10 times under conditions as detailed by Bodsy and it comes out of the procedure.
If all else fails there’s a hard reset (disconnect the battery for about 15 mins) but you loose all your stored settings, that might be worth a try as a very last resort.

so just driven it for a few years and tried the brakes, which work, and then tried the epb - and all worked ok. Too hark to do the bedding in procedure now - and I'd tried to initiate it before, but with the 'parking brake fault' lit, toggling the switch had no effect. But just a gentle movement of a few years seemed to fix it. Bedding in tomorrow now.....
