Clean Map sensor = No Drivline Clunk |
|
I inspected the MAP sensor on my D3, as expected it was covered in crude and the sensor hole was completely sealed over.
I gave it a good clean out and reinstalled it.
I can't believe what a difference it has made, the engine feels new again, super smooth acceleration, more responsive, the engines is quieter/ more refined and most remarkably the dreaded driveline clunk has nearly disappeared!!!!
The clunk is only about 5% of what it was,

Have cleaned mine this morning.
I haven't driven it yet, so don't know if it makes a difference.
The hole was completely blocked.
