Fuse box behind glovebox gets wet
Behind the fuse box is a computer or CJB
if that gets water in it all sort of strange things can happen.
It's also very expensive.
So disconnecting the battery and drying it out
And fixing the leak is a good idea.
If you have a son get him to hose your car while you are led inside looking at the leak or maybe some else can advise how to fix the sunroof drains. Or use the search function.

I would suggest you go and check what your vehicle has written across the front edge of the bonnet because you might be on the wrong forum.

I will look in to this in the next couple of days and look at the sunroof drains!
Thanks for the help and I will report back to hopefully confirm why this fault happened

Had this problem a while back, its defo water in the cjb!!!
I had a fuel leak from spill off pipe and replaced the pipe then did the daft thing I pressure washed the engine . that's when all hell broke lose identical to your issues.
took a day to fully dry out after a good soaking of WD40 then a good soaking of switch cleaner.
hope this helps

Similar but not the same exactly !
I had an issue with water into the N/S footwell, it was investigated by the garage to no avail ! searched this forum as well as others only to fix the problem myself. It was the sunroof drain !! since it has dried out I have had issues with the radio coming on at full blast when opening the car with the fob, sometimes no sound or steering wheel controls, as well as intermittent blowing of head and sidelight bulbs. Someone has said that it is the fault of the amp under the front passenger seat ? any help would be very appreciated

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem on a 2007 Disco3.
Hazards flash when car is switched off. Remote key does not work. Pressing the brake gets it back to normal.
Did you manage to fix?
Any suggestions for me?
Much appreciated

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread. Trying to resolve same problem of hazards flashing, doors trying to lock and unlock, and interior fans turning on and off when engine switched off.
Checked wiring loom out in right hand sill and can't find red wire splice anywhere. Look all the way to just past the first of the front earth connections in right hand side footwell. Is this splice something that was done at the factory, or is it a bodged repair from ealier failure? Just wondering if this is something that should be easy to find on all D3s.
Being unable to find the splice I then went to the TCCM behind the battery. Couple of slightly corrected connector on the black connector block and the blue connect block, so cleaned up thos and the pins with Deoxit. Nice and shiny but problem not solved.
Was about to check the fuse box and control unit behind the glove compartment, but then dawned on me I haven't actually check voltage at the brake switch yet. Vehicle is going in for timing belts and oil pump on Wednesday anyway, so tempted to leave it to them, but don't want to spend out too much on fault finding time!
Only had the D3 for 2 weeks and was perfect until this stupid hazard warning light thing started!

Hazards flashing and doors locking and unlocking
Sorry to renew this old thread again. My 2005 tdv6 hse has developed the same issue. Starts and drives fine, but soon starts flashing hazards and cycling the locks as soon as ignition key is removed. Definitely not transfer case ecu as another good one did the same. I want to fix its gearbox, but need to fix this newest issue first! Yes I have a sunroof, but no the carpet doesn't seem wet ( but it was a few months ago, before issue began!
