Can anyone recommend an independent specialist for Discovery 4 servicing in the Milton Keynes area?
It will be the first service out of warranty and I'm just wondering if I should go specialist or main dealer.

Looking your location (shows as Stony Stratford?), I'd suggest you turn to Loughran Brothers in Towcester.
I've used them for 20 years or more - to be fair, they don't do my D4 as that's a lease vehicle but they've had the Fun Prevention Officer's F2's (both) and all sorts of other LR stuff.

Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

I use, and highly recommend, these guys in Milton Keynes. They have been looking after my Discovery 3 and 4 for years and what they don't know is incredible.

Just got quoted £2200 for a 105k service on a MY13 D4 saying it's time for the belts and it's a body of job.

Last time I called BME for a quote, their labour rate was higher than the main dealer, they weren't especially interested and had a long wait time
I used Woburn 4x4 for repairs on my L322 and they were fine and significantly cheaper 2003 Discovery 2 V8 GS
