Setup menu does not show the option to use paddle shifter in
Early production USA 2016 LR4 HSE LUX.
I can find the option in the manual and people talking about it on forums but I have no Setup Menu option to be able to downshift or upshift in D. S works of course.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

There is no set up menu to enable them, they should just work in either S or DCheers Ian

I'll have to copy the paragraph in the owners manual and find about the menus, holding the "up or down" paddles in D does nothing.

Despite what your manual states you don't have a setup menu that allows you to configure Command Shift in D and S. If Command Shift in D is not working on your Discovery it needs to go into the Dealer for them to investigate why it's not working.

I can see the section you are referring to but this is the first I have heard of it, it's certainly not an option on UK spec vehicles Cheers Ian

I've just noticed yours is a MY2010 Petrol so has it got the normal gear lever or the rotary control gear lever? We didn't get the paddles until MY2012 when it changed to the eight speed gearbox.Cheers Ian

What is a MY2010? I did have a 2010 LR4. Maybe my profile? I'll look at that.
Talked with my Service Writer at LR and he said do it in S and have fun.....
Thanks

I had a look at your profile and that said 2010 LR4, I can see you now have changed it Unless it is a specific thing for the US market it should work whilst in D, I've had a look at the online manual for a US LR4 and it is the same as the UK one, there is no mention about a set up menu
I think you may need to get it into a Land Rover dealer for more investigation Cheers Ian
