Purple is normally permanent and white with green stripe is ignition switched.
Where are you finding those coloured wires?
Some of the interior illumination uses purple colour so it might be that and not permanent 12V 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

They're on the loom cut from a car that plugs into the Rosen harness.
Any idea how I remove the middle row overhead light and alarm unit from the head lining ? Discovery 3 2007 HSE

Great thankyou exactly what I need. Just short of the loom to go from the player to the A pillar and connect to the speaker system. Shown on 35 on instructions. Discovery 3 2007 HSE
