Settling in. Update

Picked up the D3 last Thursday so getting used to the new layout after driving a D2 for the last 5 years. Have to say I am impressed and love it.

Each time an early, unmoddified, D3 crops up I can see how good looking, functional and easily identifiable the original design was Very Happy

Congratulations, enjoy! Thumbs Up

Nice looking motor Delainy.

It's a world of difference going from a D2 TD5 to a D3 TDV6.
So much more relaxing to drive, smooth pulling and better on rough roads.

I loved my D2 but D3 is a different league!

So had the D3 for a few weeks now and I am amazed by it. I loved my D2 but as you all say, these are in a different league. My d2 had all the usual mods, centre box delete, re-map, egr blank and only now can I see SWMBO's case of "it feels rough and noisy" as the D3 is so smooth and driving it is effortless. Totally smitten but this one is going to remain completely standard as I don't feel the need to change anything.

Thanks for the offer Beanie I will doubtless take you up on that. You are gonna have to explain the "soup kitchen" reference cos I'm probably being a bit thick.
