EGR bolts

just bought an egr bypass kit for my 2005 D3 and wondering what's the best advice to get the bolts out please

warm the engine up first , or better cold,

need to get some plus gas and will give them a good spray before hand

just wondering what the success rate it of them coming out in one go

bought the bypass kit from bell autos as i thought it better to buy from them instead of some cheap ones off ebay , so i knew they were a decent quality

apologise for asking a question that i imagine has been asked many times before

couldn't find a link, only about the kits

removed my map today and dread to think what the egr system is like , in going by what my map looks like

pic of before and after

thks in advance

Proper gunmed up!

Plenty of plus gas and get new bolts as they'll be quite corroded.

thks bodsy

is all cleaned out ready to go back

will i just need four new bolts plse,

imagine the egr pipes are in a right mess ,

was strange after its been fine then all of a sudden going up a step hill it seeemd to be gutless, struggling

i parked up and once i started it up again seemed fine

would faulty egr valves possibly cause that , don't think the bunged up map sensor helped m couldn't even see the hole

will check before i put it back that the hole isn't blocked as well, hoover should do the trick Laughing

Keep anything you take off just in case the mot laws change in the future.
