Suspension issues - amber light |
|
First of all, a big thanks to DiscoGaz for helping me read the fault codes today!
After clearing the old codes down, we were left with:
B1D12 Volumetric alarm power circuit
U0421 Invalid data received from ride level control module
C1A20 Pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir
U0132 Lost communication with ride level control module
Symptoms I've been seeing are:
Error messages on the dash - varying between:
Suspension will raise when system cooled
Normal Height only
Vehicle is raising slowly
I've also had the amber and red lights, but not consistently.
Before the codes were cleared today, the car had dropped to the floor, but once they were cleared it seemed to rise at the back more than the front.
I'm not hearing the compressor kick in at all
So, based on reading a wide selection of the many threads on here my plan is to remove the compressor and have a look at it to check the dryer and maybe see if it will run off the car (I've already taken off the bottom cover but I can't see any cracks in the dryer cap).
Apart from this, is there anything else I can be checking?
From what I can see, the Dunlop compressors are seen as an ok replacement if it comes to it?

Seems like you are in the right track to start with ie compressor dryer. You can buy dryer kits on eBay that will service all of the parts required for much less than buying a new compressor. Disco3 project

I only just saw your post and I have a similar problem, looks like a new compressor maybe?
