After a years of trusty service my FBH doesn't want to play ball this Autumn.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a rebuild kit - not just gaskets but the glow plug etc.
Also any tips on getting the large electrical plug (thick purple and black) of the unit. I have tried and failed!

Are you absolutely sure you haven't run the car low on fuel (less than a quarter tank) as the FBH will make , I think, three attempts to fire and if it gets the low fuel message each time, it locks out and needs a re-set with a Nanocom or IID tool.
Mine did this last year and have also had a few local D3's needing a reset which I managed with my Nanocom.
All was well after.

Yes, read the guide but I can't the plug (purple and black) off mentioned in my original post.

ah ok, ISTR mine needed a fair bit of welly when I did mine in fact I'm not sure that I didn't actually bust the retaining part when I did it. and theeeeennn......???

Use the Disco's key blade to operate the latch on the connector. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
