If you want to save cash on a fridge, go for the 40 litre halfords one. Yes it is not as good as waeco or engles, but it is only 80 quid. I used mine all summer down at the caravan and then again for a two week trip across the spanish pyrenees. Important thing was it kept the beer cold and the meat for the BBQ.
dual battery system is a really good idea, along with an inverter. You will find you take loads of electronic items like numerous cameras, ipads, laptops, drones, fridges, chargers, PMR radios etc. All need electric and whilst you may have electric on site, its best to have a back up plan if wild camping. circa 350 quid.
T max compressor, used mine twice in spain and on green lanes in UK. 80 quid.
second hand expo rack. I bought one off here for 150 quid and it has been invaluable.
tree sliders - 250 quid of flea bay
sump guard - 150 flea bay - britpart.
finally, more a luxury, a drawer system which you can build yourself and save a fortune but will make storage much more easy to manage on your overland trip. there is a guide on here from an aussie member (rich) who built a system and saved as a pdf. Not sure of the topic thread, but PM me if interested as I have the pdf saved on my laptop. full credit to the author rich for the brilliant job he did in documenting his build. D3 Java Black 57 Plate SE, Night Breakers, Grabber ATs, Sidelight LEDs and best of all - Narpy torch. loads more to buy.
D4 61 plate XS (12Mod Year)
BabyRRR - gone and completely forgotten
