I’ve bought a few of these empty key fob cases now to do this job myself. My old blade was less than a perfect fit into the new cases, and always felt a bit tight, and never fully sprang open when the button was pushed. Apparently the cases changed very slightly at some point and the pivot point was fractionally different to older key cases?
Can you confirm that this won’t be the case here, and the key will be perfectly functioning?
Well, I've not had an issue so far and there's 14 pages of commendations on this thread on this forum alone...... 8)1998 Defender 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF

I can certainly understand why no one would be happy posting anything time-sensitive this time of year ( I'll post the second key in January ) as I've just received cards from the UK on Christmas Eve that were posted on the 1st and 2nd of December !

Now that's a good ROI figure right there!
Thanks Neil, glad you're happy and a pleasure to deal with you mate.

Another shout out for Adam - excellent service and value. Both key fobs were knackered, and now like new.
Forget buying a cheap copy off e-bay and torturing yourself to transfer the innards - new case and battery for a bit extra cost is worth every penny.
Many thanks Adam!

Hi Everyone,
I've been waiting on a new batch of blanks (so keeping my head down!) but luckily I have them now.
So, if anyone needs a fob doing just PM me as always and I will send you the instructions on what we do next.
Best regards

What's the turn around?
Reason being Is I only have one semi functional key, loose battery so a pia to lock/unlock.
I also have an original second case with blade but no internals/board. I also bought a new blank but never got it programmed.
My plan was to refurb the semi working key with loose battery then take the original blade and put that in the blank and program that to use as a spare.
