Help - Door Mirror Damaged. Do I just need new glass?
A Stagecoach Megabus coach decided not to bother yielding last night despite parked cars on his side of road. Nowhere for me to go led to a tremendous crash as door mirrors collided (I'd almost stopped by this point - he was still travelling at speed).
All things considered it doesn't look too bad. There's some scuffing but the mirror folded back and re-engaged with a powerfold and the motors still seem to work.
However the mounts on the glass have sheared. I'm not 100% certain about the motor assembly part. So my question is, from the photos do you think I just need a replacement mirror glass assembly. Advanced Factors sell them for about £15. Or is there anything to suggest I need some of the other bits...?
