was pretty bad around Brum last might, Harboune-on-Sea almost. Came through a couple of floods where buses were stuck. It wasnt the engines on the buses that had stopped them, it was water entering the bus through the doors as the floors as so low.

Had something similar up in Liverpool last Friday. This was our road after a monster thunder storm and downpour:
Sadly I didn't have my camera in my hand when a local drove her 1-series into it without really slowing down. All I caught was the aftermath as she rolled into the kerb and got stranded:

Judging by the disc in the back window and the car type it appears to be a mini cab . They can take short cuts no-one else can as shown here.......
