Well so far so good, she's walked past it a few times, driven it to pick up the kids and chatted to a friend on the drive about it being our new car.
Hasn't noticed yet!
And when I return later with the bumpers it should be dark!

Just tell her all the old bits can be sold on the forum and it will increase the value of the car when you come to sell it on. Or tell her you will put all the old bits back on when you sell it and sell the new bits on then to get your money back MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Reminds me of the "Ahh....." moment on the phone a few years back when SWMBO said something on the lines of "I have just had to pay £60 import duty on golf clubs that have just arrived from USA"
The "Ahh" was the stumble and fumble around the words ....."I was going to tell you about them " great for my swing, second hand clubs will offset the bill blah blah BS etc. cost me £1200 for spending spree that followed just because I thought I had six days grace to pick my moment.
Big lesson learned US Mail very efficient and have well practised excuse ready immediately for confrontation!

Quiet day today.
No mods and no hiding boxes.
Loving the new look and have the LR Permagrin when driving.
I did however pick up a new toy on my travels today, it's got three wheels, two seats and a tow hitch!
There's definitely no hiding this one!!!!!!!!

Fixed Low ratio switch!!
Finally got round to stripping down the centre console and dissecting the hi/low switch.
Little was all furred up (contact bottom left in pic) and a quick scrub with some plumbers wire wool sorted the problem out.
Back in business and ready for some Salisbury green lane fun!!!

It's not all gone unnoticed however, she did spot the Logo puddle lights straight away.
The real test will be whether she notices the bumpers and wheel arch colour coding!!!
